A new year is almost upon us. Let' s leave this New Year doing something nice for someone each day. Let's leave this new year controlling our anger and loving. And if we make mistakes, lets ask forgiveness and go on.

Guard Your Heart

I've filled my mind with things I wish I never had. And a lot of it was a result of not doing what my parents said.
I come here to encourage all of you to please guard your hearts! Guard what you fill your mind with. Once something is there it's hard to get out. And the more you feel your mind with something sinful or harmful to you, the more it builds up strongholds in your life. Strongholds that torment your later.
Your more of a man/woman  to admit you can't handle  something or shouldn't do something than to go ahead and do it.
And if your parents tell you not do something, please don't. A lot of things movies and music is filled with are not good. And I'm not meaning to judge. Sometimes you may just need to not listen to a song, you may need to turn a movie off or hit the mute or fast-forward button. Things like that will only hurt you later.
But the good news is, if you have done things, if you are being tormented for past things you've fed  yourself, There is hope! Jesus Christ! Speak God' s word at the devil when He comes at you! Read the Bible and praise God! With His help the strongholds you have built up in your life can be broken down. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

Be the men and women God wants you to be and turn away from things you shouldn't see.

So I leave you with this, guard your heart!

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)

He Love me:D

Jesus told me He loves me tonight!
Imagine that, after all I've done, After all I've done to Him, He still loves me?!
I sin, I doubt Him, I doubt His love, but yet He still loves me and forgives me. Still calls me His daughter. And He tells me so. He speaks the lovely words to my heart.
He died for me and He continues to show Grace to me everyday. Still answers my cries, He delivers me. He puts up with the messes in my life, and with His love, He fixes them.
But this love isn't just for me, He didn't just die for me. He died for YOU too! And no matter what you do, what you go through, He will help you. Deliver you. Extend that love. Just turn to Him.
So, My God loves me, and He loves you too! What a joy!

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 (KJV)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 (KJV)

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1 John 4:16

We love him, because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee...

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus!

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea... And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear...But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid...  And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water... And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus... But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me... And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
(Matthew 14:25-32 KJV)

When we take our eyes off Jesus, we begin to sink. I guess in life it's really easy to change our focus from Him to something else in our life. Sometimes to things that shouldn't be as apart of us as they are. I know I struggle with this.
You see we can't take our eyes off Jesus. He is the One that upholds us. That gives us strength to continue. Teaches us how to fight our enemy. When we loose sight of Him, our lives turn upside down. I've had this in my own life and seen it in the lives of others.
So my message to you, to me, is.. don't take your eyes off Him. Let Him be more important to us than anything else in this world. We can't make it without Him! I know most of this year I wanted to grow closer to Jesus, because I felt dead in my relationship with Him. A couple months ago, God turned a nasty situation around and used it to draw me close to Him! And together we're building a relationship! I'm thankful for my relationship with my Jesus! I'm thankful for what He's taught me!  And I encourage you to head towards a relationship with Him if you don't already have one! And if you do, keep in it!
Let's keep eyes on Jesus ya'll and let's not loose sight of Him and doubt! Let's keep them fixed on Jesus!

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me... I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
(John 15:4-5 KJV)

(I'll be taking a one week internet leave so I'll be late answering any comments:D But I need this time. See ya'll in a week!)

Was His Sacrifice Not Worth Enough?

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
(Isaiah 53:5 KJV)

Guilt has a way of creeping up on us, doesn't it? I know it does me.But by God's grace I know I'll overcome.
Recently I was struggling with guilt over something I had done. It was long in the past but remembering it...  God spoke to me in that time, "Is my sacrifice not worth more then this?"
This is something I remind myself of now when things start to get at me.
People, Jesus died on the cross for us! He took all our pain, all our torment, and through this sacrifice we can overcome! And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony... (Rev. 12: 11 KJV)
So is the things that get thrown at us in life more then what Jesus did? No it isn't. Jesus blood covers it all.
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. (Rev. 1:5 KJV)
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
(Hebrews 9:14 KJV)
What Jesus did is worth so much more then our junk!
So trust in that. Believe that. When things creep up on you, remember His sacrifice. Remember how much it's worth. Remember that He died so you can be forgiven! Trust in that. Tell the devil "Jesus sacrifices is worth more then your junk." Make sure and let the devil know it's his junk not yours.
Smile and overcome.
So let's remember His sacrifice.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin... If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(John 1:7, 9 KJV)

Give Us Clean Hands

I find this worship song to now be one of my favorites:D! I hope ya'll like it and it blesses you!

"Give Us Clean Hands"
We bow our Hearts
We bend our knees
Oh Spirit come make us humble
We turn our eyes from evil things
Oh Lord we cast down our idols

So give us clean hands
Give us pure hearts
Let us not lift our souls to another
Give us clean hands
Give us pure hearts
Let us not lift our souls to another
And God let us be
A generation that seeks
That seeks your face
Oh God of Jacob
And God let us be
A generation that seeks
That seeks your face
Oh God of Jacob

We bow our Hearts
We bend our knees
Oh Spirit come make us humble
We turn our eyes from evil things
Oh Lord we cast out our idols

So give us clean hands
Give us pure hearts
Let us not lift our souls to another
Give us clean hands
Give us pure hearts
Let us not lift our souls to another
And God let us be
A generation that seeks
That seeks your face
Oh God of Jacob
And God let us be
A generation that seeks
That seeks your face
Oh God of Jacob

So give us clean hands
Give us pure hearts
Let us not lift our souls to another
Give us clean hands
Give us pure hearts
Let us not lift our souls to another
And God let us be
A generation that seeks
That seeks your face
Oh God of Jacob
And God let us be
A generation that seeks
That seeks your face
Oh God of Jacob
Oh God of Jacob

We bow our hearts to you

Should've Been Us

It should've been me
It should've been us
Should've been there hanging on a cross
All of this shame
All of these scars
Should've been stains that were never washed
Why do I hide
Why do you try
Over and over and over again
I guess it just leaves saying thank God
It leaves me saying thank God, thank God
For the should've been

About two weeks ago I was listening to this song as part of my praise and worship time... and as this part was sang tears came to my eyes.
Think people, Jesus died a horrible, shameful, death, that we should have had to die. He took all our pain and sin upon Himself, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."
 (Isaiah 53: 5-6)
He took all it all. When He shouldn't have had to do that. But He did it because He loves us and He wants us to forgiven and with Him forever! He loved/loves us SO much!
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
So as the song goes, let's be thankful for the "Should've been"! Let's be thankful for what Jesus did for us! Let's be thankful for that love, forgiveness, and healing that He offers us daily!I know I need His healing and forgiveness.
Let's strive to do this, be thankful!

A way with words

Everyday I read Matthew 5:3-16, and while reading the familiar verses 13-16, I somewhere thought that Jesus had a beautiful (or something like that, not sure the exact thought I had, lol) way with words! I want you to read this passage and realize how beautiful His illustration is!

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men...Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid... Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house... Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The Key

As many of you know I recently posted about having a trouble with my thoughts. The devil really got me, at every turn, and it got to be so tormenting. But God revealed to me in His word about praising Him. I've really learned SO much on how to fight against the devil and it's 100% the best thing you could do. It REALLY works. So I would like to share with you what I've learned against fighting devil and the tormenting thoughts he gave me.

1: Jesus, He is the #1 key to fighting any torment!!

2: His word... His word has any solution to ANY problem you may face. Just ask God to direct you to what you need to read to help you with the problem your facing! Jesus will direct you! Here are some great verses to read and know in your heart! They help me daily!!

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

(John 10:10 [KJV])

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you... Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

(James 4: 7-8 [KJV] )

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

(2 Corinthians 10:5 [KJV] )

3: When I got serious about fighting the devil God showed me that I needed to praise Him! I wasn't the worship music kind of girl, I'm was/am your rock/rap kind of girl! But I've started listening to worship music some and praising Jesus! It really helps!! I know that hard rock and rap are a form of worshiping, but actually listening to "worship" songs is just SO helpful! It drives the devil away!  Psalm 57: 5, 7-11 says,  Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth...  My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise... Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early...I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations...For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds...Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.

4: Having the word in your heart! I learned from a good friend of mine how important it is to have scripture memorized and in your heart! I also learned from her to quote scripture when the devil comes at you! And it is a helpful tool! And I learned to read your Bible aloud! And I pretty much read my Bible aloud now! I worked on memorizing some scripture and some I just know. Some of my Bible reading is the same passages each day, therefore I know scripture that way! Just make sure you know scripture to spew out at the devil when he comes at you!! He'll flee!!

5: Prayer! James 5: 13-18 says,  Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms...Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:..And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much...Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months...And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

And Psalm 6: 6-10 says, I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears...Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies... Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping...The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer... Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

6: Sometimes it might help if you give up some of your entertainment:D That's good for everyone every so often! I did and am doing that.

 God will come through!

I would like to recommend purchasing "The Kings Princess: a magazine compilation" by Isabella D. Morganthal! It has some really helpful articles that helped me and I know there will be more when I read further! Go visit her website at http://isabellamorganthal.weebly.com/ to purchase a copy!

So I hope these will help you as they did me!!
