T.R.U.S.T.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Psalm 91:1-2

Trust. Its hard sometimes. And trust sometimes wavers. Even our trust in God. Right?
Well it shouldn't, should it?
Our trust in God should be steadfast. It's a wonder to me why we don't trust Him all the time. For He is so good. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Psalm 121:3
Let's think about this for a moment.
God created a perfect world. Men sinned but God had a plan for man if they sinned. Jesus. Throughout history people sinned and turned away from God no matter how much He did for them. But when they cried into Him, He heard, He did answer, and He showed mercy. Then He sent Jesus. He loved this world so much (John 3:16) that He sent His only begotten son to die for us on the cross. The most painful and cruelest death known. To save us. The wretched human beings who have sinned, slapped Him in the face, and condemned our Savior to death. But He loved us SO much that He died on the cross and rose again! We can have L.I.F.E. in Him! God tore the veil of the temple in two, we are no longer separated from Him. We can spend eternity with Him. God has promised to never leave us. (Heb. 13:5). He gives us peace (John 14:27), such beautiful and steadfast peace. And He has given us weapons to fight against our enemy, the devil (Luke 10:19).  He hears us when we cry and gives us healing (Isaiah 53:5)
So let me ask us all this question? Hasn't God proven Himself trustworthy?
The Bible is full of stories of His faithfulness and that He'll always come through!
Why don't we trust? Why do we doubt? Why do we spend a moment doing this?
When we go through anything He's THERE.  But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour
Isaiah 43:1-3
That is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G y'all!!
Think about it: We are these human beings who have sinned and God says, "I want to call you my Children!" Jesus Calls us His children!! We are the children of the King of all kings!! We are His! That makes us royalty! Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God. 1 John 3:1
He takes unworthy people, and calls them worthy. Love. And so, so very cherished. What Love.

Let's all pray for God's strength to trust in Him! Let's ask God to create a trust in our hearts in Him for every situation. He is our Strength, therefore with His unfailing strength we can trust (Psalm 27:1)!  Let's pray for a trust that isn't moved, we can have this by God's mercy! For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved. Psalm 21:7. He has never failed. He won't start now!

And He has calls us His friends. And wants us to be His best friend... (Psalm 62:8) and (John 15:15)

Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?... But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Luke 12: 24-26, 31.
Jesus says if were not able to do this little thing why would be worry about the bigger things? He says to seek God and all these things would be added unto us! T.R.U.S.T. Even when it's hard.

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. Psalm 56:3

Cause me to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in Thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto Thee. Psalm 143:8

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7-8

Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power. Psalm 21:13

But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Psalm 13: 5-6
